CHOCOLATE BIRTHDAY CAKE:-

We can make this cake colourful with colourful candles
which brighten up the taste of the cake.


INGREDIENTS:-
160 g of butter
190g of sugar
2 eggs
260g of self-raising wholemeal flour
60g of coco powder
quarter teaspoon of soda bicarbonate
250g of natural yogurt




GARNISHING ITEMS:-
300g of golden icing sugar, sieved
2teaspoon cocoa powder
1 teaspoon of butter in melted state
4-5 spoons of boiling water
60g of white and plain milk chocolate broken
into attractive shapes like squares
.


METHOD:-
1)Firstly, heat oven to 180c/fan 160c/gas. Butter and line the base of your desired cake tin or tray.Put the butter and sugar into a bowl. Beat them with electric hand beaters until becomes fluffy. Add the eggs into this
mixture and beat them again.


2) Sieve the flour,cocoa and soda bicarbonate into a bowl and pour it into natural yogurt. Stir everything until becomes smooth and place this in the prepared tin. Bake for 25 mins until sides are shrinked away from tin. Cool tin for 5 min.

3)For icing, sieve icing sugar and cocoa into a bowl.Pour butter and 2 tbps of boilin water. Stir together until consistency is spreaded. If its not smooth then add little more boiling water.

4)Spread the icing over top of the cake using a sharp knife. 





5)Melt the chocolates in three different bowls in microwave in high medium for 1 min. Spoon the melted chocolates into three disposable piping bags. Snip the ends and pipe 12 simple shapes on top of cake. 




Cut it into 12 pieces and push in the candles.
